None of the trim on mine was glued. I just used a putty knife to get the trim started and it came off easily from there.

Hi! Great job! I recently bought a three piece entertainment center. It is 8 feet tall and so is my ceiling! I'm hoping to take off the decorative trim off the top edges of all three pieces swill fit. I plan to have them possibly cut down a bit so they will fit again once the units are in place. I hope they aren't glued!!!! :( Any tips or tools that I need to take along when I go over this weekend to do it?

YES! They ruined so many phones by dumbing down the software! My last phone said "Please say a command" from my pocket several times a day even though it was on silent. If only they allowed me to turn off voice commands or reassign the outside buttons...

I'm glad that Apple had the clout to stop Verizon from ruining the iPhone experience. Now that the dust has settled, I've got an iPhone on the Verizon network (aka I can watch youtube in places where my friends can't get a text). I was also lucky enough to be grandfathered in on the unlimited data plan, so I won't be going anywhere else for a long time.

Doug,

We use the Fugue icon set and also have the desire to expand our selection of electronic document formats. Thank you for doing some of my work for me!

Not only have you provided useful images, but you've also reinforced some best practices and offered tips that will likely save someone hours of frustration.

Keep up the great work!

Thanks, that's great! I remember a set of VHS tapes at a now closed video rental store many years ago that had that cartoon too. If you should have a chance to check I'd love to know the title of that tape and the cartoon title if it's listed.

I know this cartoon. I have it on VHS and have had it since the 1980s. The line is actually "It's Spring and even the porcupines are kissing..ouch ouch ouch...but very carefully..ouch ouch..ouch"

That's a great use I hadn't thought of. The hardest part is getting images into Address Book and the script works nicely for that. I'm happy to see others extending it for other purposes.

Awesome, thanks for the script! I customized it to use employee photos from our company (which luckily are provided on an internal website) instead of gravatar as a source, giving an even higher hit rate :-)

I cut the sides after removing the top. I clamped on a board as a guide and then cut it with a circular saw. You can avoid some of the splintering by putting a piece of masking tape along the line where you'll be cutting. But it's no big deal if you get a little splintering near the edge since the trim covers it.
